Getting started with Locally's Data Sharing API

Data Sharing is an opt-in data sharing platform for second and third parties of Locally.

Any company wishing to participate in data sharing with their retail/brand/marketing partners must get positive consent from the other companies which comprise the report.

Data reports are generated daily and are accessible via one of the following methods:

  • A Simple REST API (documented here)
  • CSV files on an S/FTP Server
  • CSV files in a Google Cloud Storage Bucket File Directory

Hundreds of different data elements can be shared: product catalog content, store inventory quantity on hand, platform consumer behavior data, locations, opportunities, and more.

All data is optionally paired with geocoded metrics which illustrate Locally's platform usage across the entire ecosystem.

Data Sharing services are available to Locally's brand and retailer clients as an add-on to their service. Data Sharing is also available to 3rd party firms (marketing/analytics) on a per-client or rev share basis.

Locally does not sell or share client data without the explicit consent of our brand and retailer partners!
