Onboarding: Brand Deliverables

What do we need to get started?

We need three documents for a successful launch.

Authorized Dealer List

The spreadsheet should have:

  • Store Name
  • Address
  • City
  • State/Territory
  • Zip
  • Country (Two letter code)
  • Public-facing Phone (Our system will add dialing codes, so please provide the local number. For most non-North American phone numbers, it is the phone number that starts with 0 (and not +XX without the 0)
  • (Optional but recommended) Your internal vendor/account ID, if you use those to cross-reference
  • Email
  • (Optional) Store's Website URL
  • (Optional) Categories. If you have multiple categories, please separate them with commas. Categories are case-sensitive and cannot contain spaces or special characters. Please review Dealer List Category Visualizations to see all your category optio

o keep your catalog items up to date. Some common feed providers are Feedonomics, ChannelAdvisor, GoDataFeed, Salsify, and Shopify Apps.

We can sync to:

  • a URL (usually an XML file)
  • a file exported daily to an SFTP we provide
  • a file exported daily to your own SFTP with user and password

Product Feed Required Fields:

  • UPC/EAN
  • Product Name
  • Style Number/Grouping ID/MPN
  • Taxonomy/Category (for example, Shoes > Running > Trail)
  • Color
  • Size
  • Variables besides size and color
  • Gender
  • MSRP
  • Image URL
  • Short Description
  • Brand (if your feed includes other brands you sell outside of your brand, so we can filter)

For each language/currency, we need an additional file. If you do not have a feed provider, consider using our partner GoDataFeed Partnership for a special rate.

If you are unable to provide a feed, please send the brand's retailer order form spreadsheet with the above items.

Key Account List & Introductions

We need a list of key retailer accounts to prioritize for activation. There is no required format. Most clients provide a notation on their authorized dealer list.

For the best outcome, please provide Locally with direct introductions to your Key Accounts.

  1. Identify the right contact(s) at the brand who will be making the introductions
  2. Introduce the retailer to your Client Success Manager
